Lower Valley Tour for Cruise Passengers (Includes Snack)
Optional: Welsh Tea and Museum Entry (Check rates)
As soon as you disembark, we’ll head to the Lower Chubut River Valley, visiting the historic Welsh town of Gaiman, known for its tree-lined landscapes and unique rock formations shaped by erosion.
Optional: Enjoy a traditional Welsh Tea, savoring homemade cakes, breads, and regional sweets, made following ancient customs. We’ll also visit the Railway Tunnel, offering a unique glimpse into local history.
If time allows, we’ll stop by a local farm, where you can experience the aromas and flavors of artisanal products.
Next, we’ll visit the Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum (MEF), one of South America’s most renowned museums, showcasing dinosaur skeletons, including the world’s largest dinosaur, the Megatitanosaurus, found in the region. You can also observe scientists working on fossils through large windows, as the MEF is also a respected research center.
We’ll return to Puerto Madryn, and if time permits, we’ll offer a city tour before heading back to the port.
